The Cabaceiras communities

Coral Lodge 15.41 are Cabaceira Grande and Cabaceira Pequena. Because of their remote location the inhabitants of these two villages lived in isolation for many centuries. This isolation has sheltered the Macua people from civil war and HIV/Aids on the one hand, but it deprived them of development, schooling and medical services on the other hand. During your stay it will be possible to visit these communities and learn more about the Macua people and their traditions.
